Sony continues to expand their Spiderman-less franchise with spin off films. This time it is Madame Web getting the solo film much like Venom and Morbius, though hopefully it can find more success than Morbius, and the upcoming Kraven the Hunter. The movie will star Dakota Johnson as Cassandra Webb / Madame Web, Sydney Sweeney as Julia Carpenter / Spider-Woman and Celeste O’Connor as Mattie Franklin / Spider-Woman. We will also see Mike Epps, Emma Roberts, Adam Scott, and Zosia Mamet have been cast in undisclosed roles.
The plot of the film is: “Cassandra Webb is forced to confront her past while trying to survive with three young women with powerful futures”
The movie is set for a February 14th release
