I got to speak with Cory and Jeff Papineau, brothers from Ottawa who together make up Lemon Cash. Lemon Cash are experiencing their first Top 40 hit with “Breakup Song” and recently signed a 2 song deal with Sakamoto Music distributed by Warner, first song of which was “Breakup Song.”
I discussed with them the band name, the success of “Breakup Song,” them signing with Sakamoto Music as well as what we can expect from the brothers the rest of the year and heading into 2024.
