Last night was the 57th annual Country Music Association Awards that was hosted by Luke Bryan and Peyton Manning. The awards saw Lainey Wilson take home her fair share of awards whether it was just her or apart of her collaboration with Hardy for “Wait In The Truck.” Lainey was able to secure the most coveted award of the night taking home Entertainer of the year as a part of her 5 wins (2 shared with Hardy) of her 9 nominations. The night was filled with great performances including a tribute to recently passed Jimmy Buffett as well as highlighted by Jelly Roll performing “Need A Favor” with Wynonna Judd that left fans worried. Wynonna seems to shuffle her way out to Jelly Roll and cling to him to stay standing while delivering strong vocals. It was highlighted also with Tracy Chapman winning for writing “Fast Car” that was covered by Luke Combs 35 years after its original release.
