Jade Eagleson has released the music video for his current hit single “Shakin’ In Them Boots,” the video is directed by award winning music video director Ben Knechtel. The video even features Jade with the “stache.” Here is what Jade has said about the video:
“It’s been a dream of mine since I was a kid to release a song we could do a proper two-step to.” “It’s no secret that legendary artists like Shania Twain and Alan Jackson have played a big role in my influences over the years, so I wanted to honour those music videos I grew up watching and bring a bit of classic honkytonk into this one.”
Eagleson is the only male Canadian country artist to ever land 3 back-to-back #1s (“She Don’t Know”, “All Night to Figure it Out,” “More Drinkin’ Than Fishin’” feat Dean Brody) off only his second full-length album release, following in the footsteps of his longtime hero Shania Twain, who is the only other Canadian country artist in history to do the same. With “Shakin’ In Them Boots” in the top 10 currently on the Canadian country charts he is looking and close to 4 in a row.
Jade may also be gearing up to hit the road soon, whether it is just festivals or a tour remains to be seen but I can say he has come a long way when it comes to performing since I first saw him 4 years ago opening up for the Reklaws, no longer just walks around the stage but basically bouncing off the walls.
