Last night was the 12th annual CMAB Awards and they were hosted by Hailey Benedict and Jojo Mason which took place in Calgary this year. I always like how the awards honor the big name from the province as well as the emerging/up and coming talent in the province. It had great performances by the variety of talents and acts. A lot of big wins for some including Prairie States winning in the “upper” Group/Duo of the Year category. I do have a problem with their being 2 ties for major awards, 1 in understandable but 2 is just questionable to me.
The best thing is the CMAB’s were streamed and kept on YouTube for all of us to watch and enjoy.
