I got the chance to catch up with Juno and CCMA award winner Brett Kissel to discuss his upcoming performance Saturday night at the Grande Prairie Stompede as well as his new single “Let Your Horses Run.” Brett explained his excitement for the upcoming performance and why he enjoys playing rodeos and doing shows in smaller cities and towns. Brett also went into great detail about the new single and the meaning behind it that also translates to his family.
This will be Brett’s first time performing at the Grande Prairie Stompede but has always enjoyed the rodeo and getting the chance to visit and play in Grande Prairie as he continues to play show across the country.
Brett is a life long Oiler fans and even gave us his Guess The Score prediction for the upcoming game as well as his reasoning or logic behind the choice. In case you are wondering he isn’t playing the national anthem for game 4 and we discussed the petition to ban him from doing so which he himself signed.
