We all love a good chicken wing. I mean they dedicated a whole day to them “Wing Wednesday” but what is the best flavour? There are so many sauces and seasonings to put on chicken wings. I feel that is part of what made them so popular. Four of the most common ones I feel are honey garlic, teriyaki, hot wings and salt and pepper.
Back at the restaurant I used to work at the two kinds of wings we would serve were hot wings and salt and pepper wings. My family always liked honey garlic wings and teriyaki seemed like a fitting fourth.
My favourite is of course salt and pepper wings. I think they’re the best because you are still able to enjoy the flavour of the chicken. It is enhanced thanks to the salt and pepper.
On KIX FM I am glad so many people agreed with salt and pepper taking 39% of the vote. It came in just behind honey garlic wings which were at 43% of the vote. Hot wings came in a lot lower than I was expecting at 13% of the vote and dead last was teriyaki wings at 4%.
We got a lot of people voting on this one and that is always awesome to see. Since today is national chicken wing day go out and get your favourite or if you haven’t tried honey garlic give it a go because the people have spoken…I have also spoken and I say you should get some salt and pepper wings also…k thanks.
