Last night was the American Music Association Awards and in the country categories let’s just say a lot of country music fans were not happy with a couple outcomes. There were already a number of outraged fans that names like Riley Green and Zach Top weren’t nominated especially with Beyoncé getting several nominations. Even more were outraged when Beyoncé would go on to win 2 of the awards including Favourite Female Country Artist over names Lainey Wilson, Ella Langley, Megan Moroney and Kasey Musgraves. If that didn’t sit well with the people her Cowboy Cater album winning Favourite Country Album over Jelly Roll, Post Malone, Megan Moroney and Shaboozey. The controversial “country” album and turn for Beyoncé failed to win outside of the country categories as did any other nominated country artists.
