It will be a chance to see the Agriculture Industry up close and first-hand.
2026 Open Farm Days are happening in mid-August, and even though the Application deadline has passed, late interest is being considered.
Officials say that late applications may come forward, especially in the Northwest, as a late start to Spring operations have plagued routine.
The abundance of snow, plus the slow melt, and runoff have slowed the process down, thus farmers and producers having more things on their mind.
However, over 100 farms have showed interest this year, with new hosts, and new ventures being put forward.
Organizers are still amazed by the turnout of interested Farms, and interested customers, who are wanting the experience, and the knowledge of day-to-day operations.
2026 is not expecting to be any different.
The Chief Executive Officer of the Alberta Association of Agricultural Societies, in charge of Open Farm Days, is Tim Carson.
