rcmp-car-good192120

Peace Regional RCMP are investigating a break-in and theft that occurred early March 23rd in Peace River.

Officers on patrol along 75 Street discovered a property with a broken gate and visible damage. After contacting the property representative, police reviewed surveillance footage that revealed two suspects arriving in a dark-colored truck, believed to have a push bar mounted on the front.

Just after 2:00 a.m., the suspects allegedly rammed a garage door to gain entry. Around 2:11 a.m., both individuals entered the shop and were seen stealing equipment before fleeing the scene.

Police describe one suspect as wearing a light-colored full-body suit, along with black gloves, black shoes, a face mask, and a toque. The second suspect was dressed in a light-colored sweater, dark pants, gloves, and gum boots with lighter coloring around the calf.

RCMP are now asking nearby businesses to review security footage for any sign of the truck, suspects, or their direction of travel. Community members are also encouraged to come forward with any information that could help identify those involved.

The investigation remains ongoing, and RCMP are thanking the public for their assistance so far.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Peace Regional RCMP.
