Peace Regional RCMP are asking for the public’s help following a shoplifting incident earlier this year.
On February 26th, officers responded to a report of theft at a business along 100 Avenue in Peace River. Surveillance footage shows two suspects leaving the store with unpaid merchandise before driving away in what’s believed to be a silver or tan extended cab truck.
Police describe the first suspect as having a light to medium skin tone, wearing a black ball cap, black sweater over a white shirt, gloves, blue jeans, and black shoes, along with a visible necklace. The second suspect is described as having a medium skin tone and a mustache, wearing a black ball cap, layered sweaters with a plaid shirt, a leather jacket, gloves, blue and orange pants, and black shoes.
The investigation remains ongoing, and RCMP are thanking community members for their assistance so far. Anyone with information about the suspects or the vehicle is asked to contact Peace Regional RCMP.
Police say even small details could help move the investigation forward.
