This weekend on River Country Rising Stars the headliner was Morgan Girffiths and his new single “Southern Withdrawal” !!! Morgan has his follow up to the top 5 smash hit “Bourbon” in “Southern Withdrawal.” Morgan having a top 5 hit as a true pure independent is rare, while others like Tyler Joe Miller may have gotten to #1 as an independent, he had the backing of MDM Recordings, whereas Morgan had nobody but himself, and epic accomplishment.
Morgan’s new single is one written in Nashville with with Patricia Conroy and Jordan Honsinger and is about missing home. Morgan talks about the new single along with the success he saw with “Bourbon” as well his upcoming shows during CCMA Week coming up in Kelowna in my interview with him
