This weekend on River Country Rising Stars the headliner was Hailey Benedict and her new single “Carl Dean” !!! Hailey is one of our returning headliners and was the headliner a little over 2 years ago. Hailey has seen great success with her music and career since she spoke with us. Hailey went on to win the Top of the Country contest, had a top 40 hit with her Christmas song “Freeze” and not to forget her top 10 hit “Things My Mama Says” her first single since signing with Local Hay.
“Carl Dean” is the follow up to her top 10 hit and was inspired by Dolly Parton and her late husband Carl Dean. The songs got the approval from Dolly and her team, as Hailey felt it was important especially since his passing.
