An old Molson Canadian ad that is popular on Canada day has been remade but the original actor. The video has been made and been going viral as a response to the trade war that has begun between Canada and the US. Now the US has imposed tariffs on other countries like Mexico and is not making many friends on the international stage, but is uniting countries like Canada in opposition to the new tariffs.
We have seen Mike Myers making his statement with a t-shirt on SNL, and now Jeff Douglas the original actor (in original ad was called Joe) has returned for another passionate speech that is not in support of the adult beverage but in support of the country we call home. The video has been called as a rallying cry for Canadians as the battle vs Trump and the tariffs might just be getting started.
