When the CCMA Awards returns to Edmonton next month they will have a star studded performers hitting the stage for the biggest night in Canadian Country Music. The award show happening September 14th at Rogers Place hosted by Thomas Rhett and MacKenzie Porter now has Madeline Merlo, Owen Riegling, Josh Ross and Julia Michaels, Tenille Townes & Jake Worthington added to the list. The list already included the likes of Dasha, Jade Eagleson, Brett Kissel, The Reklaws, MacKenzie Porter, Thomas Rhett, and Dallas Smith.
One will imagine that some of the artists announced will be grouped together in some way as there is only so much time on the broadcast. The likes of Jake Worthington will likely be performing with Jade Eagleson as he is on Jade’s current single “Do It Anyway,” as will be more than likely the same case for Julia Michaels joining Josh Ross on stage as they have a song out together “Want This Beer.”
The awards are always a good time and with these performers it should be a hell of a show.
