Disney has announced when we will see the return of the streamed show Loki on their Disney+ platform. The release date is set for October 6th with the episodes being released weekly rather than all at once.
The show will pick up where Loki left off and will see Tom Hiddleston return to the role of Loki alongside Owen Wilson as Mobius M. Mobius. The show will also have Sophia Di Martino, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Wunmi Mosaku, Tara Strong and the now controversial Jonathan Majors return for the 2nd season.
We did get a small glimpse into the 2nd season in a post credit scene in the last Ant Man film, which could set the table for the MCU going forward in the phase as the next MCU film isn’t out until November which will be The Marvels. Which is also before the release of the “Hawkeye” spinoff “Echo” hits the the streaming platform November 29th.
The second season much like the first will consist of six episodes. It will be part of Phase Five of the MCU.
