Fox Lake RCMP are reminding residents of Little Red River Cree Nation to secure their property after recovering several stolen off-road vehicles during a recent investigation. Police say the case began with a report of a stolen quad and led officers to search a local property, where they recovered three stolen ATVs — including two taken locally — as well as a dirt bike stolen from the Grande Prairie area.
RCMP say the investigation is still ongoing.
Corporal Michael Heysa says unsecured property is more likely to be targeted and is urging residents to lock up vehicles and valuables to help reduce crime in the community.
Anyone with information about this investigation or other criminal activity is asked to contact Fox Lake RCMP.
