The Wheatbelt Baseball League has their schedule out for the 2026 season.
New for this season is teams being split into two divisions. The North Division will have the Peace River Stampeders, Grimshaw Huskies and Manning Mets. The South Division will have the Rycroft Rage, Sexsmith Rainiers and Grande Prairie Brewers.
The league is down one team from last season, the High Prairie Sauce are not playing reportedly due to a lack of players and coaches.

The playoff format will see the 2nd and 3rd place teams in each division playing each other in a best-of-three, those winners playing the first place teams in another best-of-three, and the two teams left standing will play a best-of-five for the league championship.
