Well this years semi-finalists have been named for the Top of the Country contest where the winner gets $25,000 and the other finalist receive $10,000. The eight competitors are from across the country and will see the list of 8 widdled down to 3, with the 3 competing and showcasing at CCMAs in Saskatoon in mid -September.
The semi-finalists are:

- Josh Stumpf – Prince Albert, SK**

On the list are 6 artists that have been featured on River Country Rising Stars show with 4 of them serving as headliners on the show.
Past winners of the contest have included Noeline Hoffman (2025 winner), Sacha, Hailey Benedict, Tyler Joe Miller, Matt Lang, Andrew Hyatt and Zach McPhee.
