This weekend on River Country Rising Stars the headliner was Adam Johnson and his new single “The Good Ol Boys” !!! Adam is a returning headliner as we caught up with him about his career since we’ve last talked. Adam talks the importance of scheduling shows not to compete with big sporting events on televison, as well as his current run of show including on in Grande Prairie November 23rd.
The Good Ol’ Boys is a working-class drinking song that addresses the Canadian housing and affordability crisis. The song combines Adam’s love of country and rock music, even leading to the release of a rock version given interest in his work by rock stations.
