This weekend on River Country Rising Stars the headliner was Spencer Burns and his new single “Yesterday’s Gone” !!! Spencer is an emerging talent from Toronto, ON who has really only gotten into his music career around the time of the pandemic. Spencer has begun to make a name for himself in the Ontario scene and looks to continue to grow and with songs like this one it is only a matter of time.
“Yesterday’s Gone” is a song Spencer wrote this one on his own while in Nashville on a songwriting trip. The songs is about realizing that a past relationship is gone and isn’t coming back and needing to move on. Spencer discusses this and more in out conversation.
