This weekend on River Country Rising Stars the headliner was Jade Hilton and her new single “Dive Bar” !!! Jade is from the GTA and is a former tennis player turned country artist. Before becoming a country artist she transitioned from pop music to the country genre. Known for her heartfelt storytelling and a unique blend of pop country influences, Jade is set to release her highly anticipated self-titled album. Jade is also set to be one of the semi-finalists at the Boots and Hearts Emerging Showcase, a competition that helped launch the careers of Jade Eagleson and The Reklaws.
Jade’s new single “Dive Bar” has proved to be a big break out for her, finding itself on a number of playlists and helped gained traction for the young artist. The single captures the blend of authenticity, charm and warmth that define Hilton’s sound. The song was written in Nashville on a writers trip for Jade.
