Students at Worsley Central School are building a greenhouse, and planting a garden, as part of their courses for credit.
They are hoping to grow for their hot-lunch program, for carving at Hallowe’en, and to participate, maybe in future Farmer’s Markets in the area.
Goals of the program is to have bedding plants, and potential growth for the area.
The projects are entirely student-driven.
The community and area are also getting involved with the project.
Jennifer Daniel is the Principal at the school.
