The War Amps Key Tag service is back for another year.
The War Amps public awareness officer, Jamie Lunn, says this program has been going on for 75 years.
“You can attach it to your key ring, and it you ever lose your keys with that on them, the person who finds them can call the 1-800 number on the back and you can get your keys back. It’s a free service that we provide to Canadians, and when people find value in that service, they choose to donate and that helps to support amputees across Canada.”
“This year, our theme is “you are a part of what we do.” That goes out to all Canadians who believe in what we do and do donate to us and help to spread our messages. Without them, we would not be able to support amputees across Canada the same way we do.”
People in Alberta who are signed up can expect to seem them in the mail very soon, people who aren’t signed up can go to https://www.waramps.ca/home/.
