****RCMP RELEASE**** – High Level, Alta.
On July 29, 2021, at approximately 3:45 p.m., High Level RCMP, while conducting a coordinated search with volunteer searchers on an unrelated missing persons case, believed to have located the remains of missing person, 47-year-old Arthur Joel Gallant, who was last seen in Dec. 2020, in High Level.
The circumstances surrounding Arthur’s death are not believed to be suspicious. The remains have been sent to the Edmonton Office of the Chief Medical Examiner for autopsy and positive identification.
The High Level RCMP would like to thank members of the communities of High Level, Bushe River and Chateh who assisted with the search. The High Level RCMP would also like to extend their condolences to the family of the deceased.
