TriCan Well Service Limited was in the Town of Peace River on Monday, December 4, 2017 conducting a job fair at the Sawridge Inn & Suites. They were looking to recruit some operators and drivers for their base location in Clairmont.

The other base location in the Peace Country at this moment is in Fort St. John, British Columbia.

Brittany Kohut, TriCan’s Human Resources and Business Partner, told the Trending 55 Newsroom that there’s a big demand for both positions right now within their company.

“(TriCan) is really busy in the energy field right now,” said Kohut. “At this time, we are recruiting Class 1, 3 and 5 Drivers. If you just have your Class 3 or 5 License, the company will provide you training in order to get your Class 1 License.”

The company continues to show growth, especially after acquiring Canyon Technical Services Limited in July of this year.

Kohut says for anyone else who is interested in those two positions, there are also other ways to apply.

“They can also apply online at www.tricanwellservice.com,” she said. “They can then just head on over to our career services page.”

She adds that that they value and reward people at the company who are looking for a long-term career path.

“We offer immediate, full-coverage benefits,” said Kohut. “That includes 100 percent coverage for health and dental care. As well, we are also a family-friendly workplace.”

TriCan will also be doing a job fair in Slave Lake on Tuesday. On Wednesday and Thursday, they’ll be heading on out to Kelowna and Kamloops, respectively, in British Columbia.
