- Police in Peace River are continuing their search for a missing man.
23 year-old Dylan Fitzpatrick was last seen, just after the May Long Weekend, on the Duncan’s First Nation. - Whitecourt RCMP have a man in custody, after a B&E investigation at an Oil Site in Fox Creek.
41 year-old Brett Laramore of Fox Creek faces the judge, later this month. - 49 wildfires are burning in Alberta, 26 of them are classified as “out of control”, with around half in the Slave Lake Forest Area, and nine of those are part of the Red Earth East complex.
- Measles cases in late May have yielded possible exposures in Fort Vermilion, La Crete, and Grande Prairie.
- Alberta Agriculture is stating that the seeds are 84% planted in the region, up from 61%, the previous week.
Specific totals include Spring Wheat at 97%, Dry Peas at 95%. Oats and Canola are 78% seeded, and Barley at 76%. - Alberta and Saskatchewan have signed agreements with Ontario to remove trade barriers ahead of a meeting with Prime Minister Mark Carney to hash out a plan they hope will supercharge the economy.

- The Toronto Blue Jays are off today, after completing a four-game sweep of the Athletics on the weekend. The Jays begin a three-game set at home to Philidelphia tomorrow.
