- Just like Mobile Screening for Breast Cancer, the Provincial Government has set aside money for mobile screening for lung health.
The program is receiving $3 million dollars from the Government and from the Alberta Cancer Foundation combined. - New speed displays and illuminated crosswalk signs are now present in High Level.

Paleontologists say the skull of the adult Pachyrhinosaurus weighs about 600 pounds, and is estimated to be 72 million years old. - Alberta Health Minister Adriana LaGrange says there’s more work to be done before a new compensation contract for the province’s doctors is finalized.
LaGrange said she’s trying to ensure the new deal, which was agreed to in part in April, is sustainable. - A major yogurt maker is recalling one of its brands in Canada over concerns that it may cause illness in immunocompromised people.
Danone Canada is asking consumers who bought its Kirkland Signature Probiotic Yogurt to avoid eating the product. The yogurt was sold in 24 packs of 100-gram servings - AJHL SHowcase in Calgary starts today with the Grande Prairie Storm in action. They play Fort McMurray at 7:15 tonight.
