Concerns about encampments increased downtown crime and issues with drug-use were among the reasons the town decided to hire Apex Security back in July. - $3 million dollars has been invested by the Provincial Government to Indigenous and small communities in rural Alberta to support local economic development.
The second round of grants, through the Small Community Opportunity Program, will support the growth of an economic footprint. - The Provincial Government has announced $3 million dollars to help municipalities lower costs of powering Rec. centers, town halls, libraries, and other community buildings.
Rebates are available to communities to improve electricity systems, lower emissions and reduce operation costs. - Alberta’s premier wants to reinforce the ability to choose whether to receive a vaccination or other medical procedures through changes to the province’s Bill of Rights.
