Despite the fact that winter has practically set in, organizations are hoping to gain knowledge on topics before the Spring.

One organization lending expertise is SARDA Ag. Research, based in the Donnelly and Falher area.

They are hosting a Soil Health Workshop on Wednesday November 27th at the Cultural Center and Hall in St. Isadore.

Guests are learning about Soil formation and quality, sampling protocol, test results interpretation, rejuvenation and productivity during the seminar.

Vivigro Solutions is the Guest speaker, who will guide through interpretations, and discuss solutions to enhance soils to produce the highest grade of food.

With the Peace and Mackenzie regions suffering a liitle from lack of moisture, and from smoke of wildfires, authorities are hoping an event like this can have ranchers still gain the upper-hand on the quality of product.

The Extension Coordinator of SARDA Ag. Research, is Shelleen Gerbig.
