The Smile Cookies are back at Tim Horton’s locations all this week.
The owner of the Peace River and Valleyview stores, Gord Drummond, says it’s a big week for their staff member because of how people in the communities get behind the cause.
“They know it’s an exciting time. People really like getting behind a cause and this is as good as it gets. It’s extra work, make no mistake. Our first order was 102 dozen.
Drummond says 100% of the proceeds from Smile Cookies goes towards Always Find a Reason to Smile, to create awareness for suicide prevention.
“It’s such a powerful cause and this is as good as it’s gonna get for needing a reason that can be difficult to understand why. I know you couldn’t put your money to better use.”
You can get the cookies all this week for a dollar a piece.
