Six suspects charged following drive-by shooting in Gift Lake

Six suspects believed to be involved in a shooting incident are set to appear in High Prairie provincial court this coming Monday.

The High Prairie RCMP was alerted about a possible drive-by shooting at around 10:30 on the morning of October 4.

Officers found the vehicle in question but it did not stop for police.

The vehicle became immobilized and the suspects fled on foot into a remote area of the Atikameg First Nation.

With help from police dogs, all suspects were found and arrested and a firearm was seized.

The suspects facing charges are:

  • Bobby Fawn Auger, 30, from Peace River.
  • Greg Glen Auger, 30, from the Gift Lake Metis Settlement.
  • Terilynn Marie Auger, 43, Yasmine Clarrice Grey, 23, Kelsey Tamara Grey, 26, Nathan Cody Tallman, 25, all from the Atikameg First Nation.

The suspects were jointly charged with numerous offences including pointing a firearm with intent, flight from police, assault, breach of court orders and firearms offences.
