Minister of Jobs, the Economy and Innovation, Doug Schweitzer was on the Trending 55 Hot Seat today to talk about the provincial budget.
Among the key industries Schweitzer highlights this week is tourism, especially in the Peace and Mackenzie regions.
He also says that while technology startups are blossoming in the big cities, there are opportunities for residetns in our region to be hired for these jobs without having to move away.
