Human remains that were found in Mackenzie County in mid-August have been identified.
RCMP have identified the deceased as 41-year-old Tyler Peterson, a resident of Hay River in the Northwest Territories, who was reported missing back in July.
The Medical Examiner has identified the manner of death as a homicide, and the RCMP is investigating.
