The RCMP Major Crimes Unit is taking over an investigation from the Peace Regional Detachment after a man was found unconscious yesterday afternoon.
The detachment was notified about the 42-year-old male at around 4:40 at an apartment building in the area of 101 Street and 101 Avenue, but he died at the scene.
An autopsy is scheduled for July 21 in Edmonton.
The Mounties did not release the name of the victim.
