RCMP looking for help in solving an assault case in Peace River

The Peace Regional RCMP is asking for the public’s help in cracking an assault case.

According to the Mounties, an unknown male entered a multi-unit building on the south side of Peace River on May 3rd at around 1:18 PM.

According to an investigation, the suspect entered one of the units and attacked a person inside before taking off.

Officers say the victim received non-life threatening injuries.

The investigation into the circumstances surrounding this incident is on-going and police are seeking the assistance of the public in identifying any suspicious individuals or vehicles in the area of 101 Street and 108 Avenue at the time of this incident.

Police are requesting that residents of the area with video surveillance systems review their footage and contact the Peace River RCMP detachment in the event that any suspicious activity was captured.
