Peace Regional RCMP responding to report of gunshot heard in Cadotte Lake (Update)
Cadotte Lake, Alta.- Some officers with Peace Regional RCMP remain in the area to continue to investigate the report of a gunshot heard from earlier today. It is believed at this time that there is no risk to the public. Cadotte Lake School has lifted their hold and secure.
No further updates on this matter are anticipated.

Peace River RCMP are currently investigating a report of a gunshot that was heard in Cadotte Lake.
Officers received the report just at around 9:35 this morning.
A heavy police presence is currently in the area while this is being investigated.
Cadotte Lake School is currently on a hold and secure as a precaution.
An update will be provided when more information is available.
