Valuable veterinary medication and equipment were stolen from the Peace River Veterinary Clinic early yesterday morning.
The medications stolen were for use in animals and are considered extremely dangerous for human use when not prescribed by a physician.
The stolen medications include:
· Diazepam
· Torbugesic
· Ketamine
· Dormosedan
· Rompun
· T-61
· Acevet
Some of the more unique equipment items that were stolen include:
· Digital X-Ray machine computer with X ray plate
· Ultrasound machine with a digital screen with probe
· Nebulizer (an inhaler for a Horse)
· Dental equipment including drills with long shafts for a Horse Dentistry
Peace River RCMP continue to investigate and are asking the public’s assistance for any information in relation to this incident or identifying those responsible.
