It’s a new look for community events that holds a lot of meaning.
Women in the RCMP have started dawning Red Dresses, as a uniform for formal events.
This was proudly on display during the National Aboriginal Remembrance Day in Peace River.
The Dresses represent the RCMP, and as a sign for the Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls, across the country.
Inspector Kim Mueller is the officer in charge of Indigenous Policing for the RCMP in Alberta.
