Premier Jason Kenney, along with Justice Minister and Solicitor General, Doug Schweitzer announced the formation of a seven-person task force this morning.

The panel will be led by Canadian country music singer, Paul Brandt, who is also an anti-human trafficking advocate.

The group was established to bring awareness to the crime of human trafficking and build on the province’s nine-point plan on the crime.

Among the points singled out includes point seven, which is to “name and shame traffickers by publishing the names of businesses found to have knowingly facilitated human trafficking.
