The province has launched a survey asking people about their about their needs, expectations and priorities for accessing online government services.

The Minister of Technology and Innovation, Nate Glubish, says it’s part of Alberta’s Digital Strategy.

“Albertans deserve the best experience when they are using a government service. One of the best ways that we can improve the user experience is by bringing in more choice, more convenience and by doing so with more modern and digital options.”

The Minister says they want to make their services more modernized.

“Instead of only being able to access a service from nine to five, what if you could access it from anywhere 24/7? That’s just one example of how we can bring about more convenience, but we can also save Albertans a whole lot of time and in some cases some money too. I think that’s a win-win.”

Glubish adds that this can make the government more efficient at delivering services, and give users more control on how they can interact with government services.
