Mayor Tom Tarpey of Peace River has has proclaimed Sunday, September 8 as Firefighter’s National Memorial Day.
The day will be used to recognize the work and sacrifices of firefighters.
Flags in Peace River will be lowered to half staff to honor firefighters.
The town’s proclamations highlights the dedication the firefighters have for Peace River.
