It’s a partnership in a field that is in need of resources in the Peace Region.
Northwestern Polytechnic in Fairview, has teamed up with the University of Lethbridge to develop a transfer program with the Animal Health Technology and the U of L’s Agricultural Studies.
Starting this fall, the goal is to broaden pathways, especially in the animal nursing, surgical assistance, and laboratory procedures fields.
With these resources needed in the Northwest, officials are hoping this partnership can fill some of the gaps needed.
