Netflix is bringing back the Addams family with their series Wednesday which will centre around Wednesday Addams as she attends Nevermore Academy. Wednesday Addams will be portrayed by Jenna Ortega in the Tim Burton directed series with Catherine Zeta-Jones as Morticia Addams and Luis Guzmán guest starring as Gomez Addams. Christina Ricci who famously portrayed Wednesday Addams in the 2 movies in the early 90’s will be be in the series in some form as well.
The series will be a coming-of-age supernatural mystery comedy focusing on Wednesday Addams and her years as a high school student at Nevermore Academy, where she attempts to master her psychic powers, stop a monstrous killing spree of the town citizens, and solve the supernatural mystery that affected her family 25 years ago, all while navigating her new relationships.
