MP Viersen has several questions for Special Committee on COVID-19 Pandemic

Peace River-Westlock MP, Arnold Viersen was one of a limited number of MP’s in the House of Commons yesterday.

Viersen first had an opportunity to ask five questions of the Special Committee on the COVID-19 Pandemic.

The MP’s questions were about:

  1. Flooding support for residents of Fort Vermilion and Fort McMurray.
  2. Canadian Emergency Response Benefit (CERB) support for farmers and small businesses
  3. Support available for start-up businesses.
  4. CERB benefits for oil and gas workers.
  5. Child protection online.

The video from the House of Commons of Viersen’s questions, and the answers, is below.

The conservative MP was also part of the debate of Bill C-15, which is a $9 billion emergency support package for students.
