Scattered showers in recent days have proved helpful for fire crews battling dozens of wildfires across Alberta.
But crews aren’t out of the woods yet.
More than 10-thousand square kilometres of land has burned in Alberta this year in the most wildfire activity the province has ever seen this early in the season.
There are 67 wildfires burning in Alberta, 19 of which are deemed out of control.
Those numbers have gone down since the cooler weather came into effect, there was over 90 fires at the end of last week.
Fire Bans and OHV Bans are still in effect, despite the rain.
Some communities remain affected by poor air quality.
