May long weekend is one of the busiest times for human-caused wildfires. This weekend, we are asking Albertans to put safety first and support our wildfire response by restricting outdoor recreation activities in the northwest region of the Forest Protection Area.
Thank you for continuing to follow the fire ban and off-highway vehicle restriction within the Forest Protection Area of Alberta. Remember that outdoor wood fires on public and private land are prohibited. The recreational use of OHVs on public land is also prohibited.
