Officials with Mackenzie County are working to restore service to its water treatment plant in Fort Vermilion.
According to a post on its Facebook page, the county says it estimates it will be approximately a week before the facility is able to re-open.
The Fort Vermilion truck fill is available but the county is asking that water only be used for domestic purposes as there is not currently enough for agriculture at this time.
The community continues to recover and rebuild following a massive flood in the Fort Vermilion area last month.
