Road repairs to Highway 744 may be happening in 2022.
Northern Sunrise County received a letter from Peace River MLA Dan Williams with tentative plans for the Judah Hill Road.
In his letter, Williams stated that Alberta Transportation will be procuring a consultant to create plans for converting the road back to a gravel surface.
The program is scheduled to begin in 2024, but the MLA says if money is available sooner, conversion may happen sooner.
Council sees the future project as progress.
