Emergency Department at the Grimshaw/Berwyn and District Health Centre is seeing a “temporary” change in its hours.
It will be open for patient registration from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and closed overnight until further notice.
This is due to a lack of registered nursing staff and an inability to secure temporary (locum) coverage.
Alberta Health Services says this will allow existing staff to provide consistent service during the times when the majority of emergency department and outpatient visits occur.
